- Who’s your preferred client? Ideal target audience? Learn how to create your own customer personas (avatars).
- Are they your existing client base?
- For your existing clients – you will assess whether they are tapped out or might be interested in other offers. What are your upsell/cross-sell opportunities?
- Learn how to triage your customer data base by levels of interest. You will sort your clients into the appropriate lead nurturing buckets:
- Current clients who want to stay in touch with you
- “Maybe” clients who might be interested in the future (3 months/6 months / 1 year)
- “Not interested” clients – tag as lost clients until they opt out
- Determine what is the best way to stay in touch with each of these groups.
